We facilitate hope
POETRY. WELLNESS. HOPE.
OUR MISSION
Hope at Hand brings poetry sessions to vulnerable and at-risk youth, primarily in non-traditional educational environments. Using creativity, language, art, and therapeutic approaches, we offer poetic healing for children and teens. We also reach out to a global community every April to celebrate National Poetry Month with Jax Poetry Fest. We offer youth weekly poetry lessons through our community partners, and adult events, workshops, and exhibits to immerse the North Florida community in poetry.
