What is a donor-advised fund?

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable account. It allows charitably-inclined individual, families and businesses to make tax-deductible charitable donations of cash, publicly-traded stock and in some case, certain illiquid assets, to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program.

Volunteer

Hope at Hand provides many opportunities for volunteers of all ages. Sign up if you think you may enjoy the following tasks:

Organizing materials or storage
Sharpening, cutting, folding, etc.
Packaging materials for classes
Creating new art projects

Researching poems
